Ten Young Liberians Win Prestigious Swedish Institute Scholarships

Ten outstanding young Liberians have been awarded the highly competitive Swedish Institute Scholarship for Global Professionals (SISGP) for the 2025–2026 academic year. The scholarship, which received over 8,500 applications globally, covers full tuition, a monthly living stipend, travel costs, and insurance for Master’s programs in Sweden. The Swedish Embassy in Monrovia congratulated the recipients, recognizing their potential to contribute meaningfully to Liberia’s development.

The selected scholars will begin their studies this fall in fields aligned with sustainable development and leadership. Their achievement marks a proud moment for Liberia, showcasing the global competitiveness of its youth. Upon completion, the recipients are expected to return and apply their skills in public service, education, governance, technology, and environmental management.
